Description
These sprawling mat plants are known for their distinct hemispherical fan flowers of five petals. The white to pale mauve tinged, fan-shaped flowers mix among small, fleshy, bright green leaves. In spring the plant is covered with clusters of small flowers, ranging in colour from snow white, though to pale blue or lilac. This uncommon plant was named for the legendary Roman hero, Gaius Mucius Scaevola.
