Description

Dragonets are highly colourful, small fish that manage to hide successfully against rock surfaces. Their large pectoral fins serve as a primary means of propulsion. Males are highly territorial between and will fight to protect their space. Up to 18 cm long

Dragonets are found in deeper rockpools and feed mostly on crustaceans, worms and other small invertebrates rooted out from the substrate.
