Description |
All Cystophora have flattened axes. This short, ground-hugging alga has yellow-brown cylindrical fronds and distinctive club shaped branchlets. Up to 1.5 m long Cystophora are important canopy forming algae at the Bluff. This one is often exposed on very low tides.
