Description: The thin, gelatinous bodies of Flatworms allow them to slide between crevices in rocks, and also to be able to absorb oxygen and nutrients directly through the skin by diffusion. Flatworms are often found on the underside of rocks where they slide across the surface seeking out small encrusting invertebrates.
