Striped Conniwink
Scientific Name: Bembicum nanum
Description: The Striped Conniwink has a conical shell, and is wider than it is high. The lower part of the shell is white with narrow black stripes. The upper part is white to cream at the point.
These small grazers live in the upper sections of the intertidal area and are easily recognised by their black and white patterns. They form groups in crevices and rock depressions.
