Bubble Shell
Scientific Name: Philine angasi
Description: The Bubble Shell is an unusual large white coloured predatory gastropod that lacks an external shell but has a very thin internal shell, hidden by lobes of the body. It lives beneath soft sediments such as the mudflats in the estuary where it hunts for and crushes bivalves with its large calcareous gizzard plates.
