Southern Eagle Ray
Scientific Name: Myliobatis australis
Description: The Southern Eagle Ray has pointed wing flaps and long whip like tail, and inhabits tidal flats in estuaries, shallow seagrass embayments, rocky reefs, and sandflats.
The tail has a venomous spine and like all rays they should be treated with respect.
