Tasmanian Blenny
Scientific Name: Parablennius tasmanianus
Description: Tasmanian Blennies are small dark coloured fish with distinctive fringed tentacles above each eye.
They shelter under rocks in rockpools, in holes and crevices of shallow reefs, inside shells, on pylons, and sometimes in empty cans and bottles.
During spawning season females lay eggs inside old shells and other hidden places and guard them until hatched.
