Western Blue Devil
Scientific Name: Paraplesiops meleagris
Description: One of Victoria’s most spectacular fish, the Western Blue Devil lives on deeper outer reefs within the Marine Sanctuary, usually solo or in pairs under ledges and caves.
It is easy to recognise by its sequin-like iridescent scales and seemingly grumpy disposition.
