The Green Anemone has a darker green column with long tentacles of a lighter green. Some species may be brown. Column is up to 8 cm wideThis species retains water during low tide periods, making it swell up and feel like jelly when touched.Algae living inside the Green Anemone’s tentacles allow them to make their own food in sunlight in return for a safe environment for the plants. |
