Six Spined Leatherjacket
Scientific Name: Meuschenia freycineti
Description: The Six-spined Leatherjacket is a common local species on reefs and can be distinguished by the small curved spines (usually 6) near the tail.
Males and females have a different colour pattern with males often showing blue lines around their grey heads while females tend to be greener in colour.
