Blue Periwinkle

Scientific Name: Nodilittorina unifasciata

Description: The Blue Periwinkle is a small snail with a pale blue-grey shell and brown tip. Occurring high on rocks in the spray zone, these tiny grazers are able to survive long periods out of the water, by clustering in large numbers on rock faces and in crevices.
